Meet Robert Butera, author of The Pure Heart Of Yoga, Ten Steps for Personal Transformation,
in our Swedesboro studio on Saturday, March 17th, 2-4 PM. A fee of $25 includes a seminar which will feature discussion of intention (Samkalpa), attitude (Bhava), posture (Asana) and breathing (Pranayama) plus the opportunity to get your copy of his book signed. Books are available for purchase at both our studio locations. Feel free to buy the book prior to the workshop or on that day. Asanas for Hope -
Please join us for our second annual Asanas for Hope.This is a donation based Yoga class to raise money for Yoga on the Steps in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 20th beginning at 8:30 AM. Yoga on the Steps is an event designed to support Living Beyond Breast Cancer. LBBC is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with or recovering from breast cancer. Consider attending our event as well as becoming a member of Team Pink Lotus and attending this life changing event with us! When: This year we have TWO DATES to accomodate everyone's busy lives. Friday, March 2nd, 7-8:30 PM or Sunday, March 25th, 11 AM - 12:30 PM, both in our Swedesboro Studio. Please register in advance beginning February 1st, at one of our studios,with a minimum donation of $10. This guarantees your spot at the event.
Yoga Teacher Training - We are thrilled and honored to bring Marianne Wells Yoga School to Pink Lotus. This training, lead by Colleen Verton, will begin in January, 2012. It is open to anyone with the desire to deepen their Yoga practice and/or teach Yoga to others. This program, designed by Marianne Wells, "gives you the proper foundation for teaching Yoga. This professional certification training prepares you to teach safely, teach confidently and teach knowledgeably. You'll learn to grow your understanding and your practice of Yoga. Uncover how to embody what you teach through an integrated, hands-on approach."
Classes will run one weekend a month beginning Saturday, January 7th. Future weekend dates to be determined once the class is full. The cost of this program is $1,695.00 which includes the teacher training and your practice at the studio during the duration of your training. Hours the weekend of January 7th are Saturday from 6 AM - 4 PM and Sunday from 8 AM - 4 PM.
Yoga Party - We have all attended a Pampered Chef, Mary Kay or Tupperware party. Well, why not plan a Yoga Party for yourself and a group of friends? As the host, your class will be free. If you are a member you can earn reward points on your membership to cash in for future purchases with us. Your friends can attend a class for $10, a $5 saving off our normal drop-in rate. The party will take place on a day and time of your choosing and be tailored to the desires of your group. This is a great way to introduce friends to Yoga or jump start your own practice while having fun with friends.
Karma Yoga Class - Once a month, Pink Lotus Swedesboro will host a donation based Yoga class. In February and March we are concentrating our efforts on Asanas for Hope. Sign up for March 2nd or March 25th. See details above.
Auburn Road Vineyards - Done for the season, returning Spring of 2010.
Musikids - Returning Summer, 2012. Singing, dancing, playing instruments, games and more! Taught by Christine Nowmos, classes feature a selection of fun, age-appropriate songs, games and activities that help stimulate musical development and coordination.
