Christine Nowmos

began practicing yoga in 1997 as a way to become more physically active and to reduce stress. She completed her training in 2012 with Colleen Verton through the Marianne Wells Yoga School. Christine’s teaching approach centers around meditative styles of yoga such as Yin Yoga, but she enjoys teaching fast-paced Vinyasa classes as well. Her classes feature creative transitions between poses and asana variations that allow each student to discover the best stretch for his/her body. Christine also has a M.M. in Music Education from West Chester University and teaches general/vocal music at the Mary Shoemaker Elementary School in Woodstown. She loves to share the playful side of yoga with children and has taught Kids Yoga at both Pink Lotus Yoga and the Shoemaker School. She hopes to help students of all ages become stronger, more confident, and more relaxed through yoga, as she has through her own practice.
