The Sanskrit word Yoga means to “yoke” or unite, translating to the union of body, mind and spirit. This is truly Danna’s approach to the practice of Yoga. For her it’s not necessarily about the power of the physical movements, it’s more about finding and connecting with your authentic self. It’s about taking a journey within and loving what you find!
Danna’s personal philosophy is that yoga is for everybody. It’s not just for the young, athletic and super flexible. She specifically enjoys working with beginners. She strives to help them feel confident enough to embark on their own Yoga journey. Her class is typically a mix of asana, pranayama and meditation, combined with a little fun and sass.
She is an RYT200 registered with the Yoga Alliance and a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute. She has additional certifications that include Cancer Exercise Specialist, Yoga For Seniors, Yoga for the Immune System, Medicinal Aromatherapy, and Reiki Level 2.
