Lisa attended the Marianne Wells Yoga School to learn more about Yoga on a personal level and earned her CYT200 then continued on to the Yoga Life Institute to earn her CYT 500. While apply Yoga principles to her every day life she realized how powerful this practice became for her. Teaching Yoga to restore and enhance health and wellbeing to her clients to help relieve physical, emotional pain and blocks has become something she is very passionate about. Lisa is also a Certified Integral Yoga Instructor, a member of Yoga Alliance and is a IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist she has also earned certificate in Barre, Reiki level 1 and 2 and received additional training in Prenatal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Thai Massage, and Yoga Nidra.
Lisa’s philosophy of yoga is about working with what you bring to the mat that day. She has a gentle and relaxed manor to help you along your journey. Her practical nature comes through in her lessons with the belief that the movement of the body should be within the harmony of your breath and never forced. Each class brings new challenges to the student and the teacher and she prides herself on her ability to adapt each day’s practice to what you bring to the mat that day.
